Today was a day of traveler's frustration. If I never go back to New Mexico it will be too soon. I40 was torn up from Tucumcari to Gallup. 491N was torn up to Colorado.
191 in CO was under construction and had us stopped for 15minutes which created a line of congestion that lasted to almost Moab.
Last but not least, coming into Utah at night the road was turned into a narrow 2 lane through the mountains around Price on toward Provo where we found I15 North is being repaved.
Did I mention the Salt Lake area sand storms and gale force winds?
Been an amazing day. Tomorrow we meet up with friends, set up pits and maybe get through tech for a Saturday 130mph run for the ransom.
